There will be a mandatory USTA meeting for all NEOTA captains Mon, March 9th at 1pm at Roswell Kent School in Akron. Please attend or send a representative. (Email us  if no one on your team can attend.) The school's address is 1445 Hammel Street Akron OH 44306.

The USTA start date is May 12th. The season will now be 10 weeks long. Each team will have 8-10 matches.

MVRC requests that at least 20% of each team are rated at the level it is playing. We also continue with the policy that nobody plays more than ½ point higher than his rating. We hope players do not play up a level this year unless they won at least 50% of their matches last year. If you need to have ANY exceptions to these policies, please keep us updated.

We do not go by USTA match times. Most of our matches are 6 or 8 pm (except matches in May.) Please create a paper trail when changing your match times. Send info to both your opponent and Coordinator.

We need from you your team roster and your entire unmarked schedule just as USTA prints it.

We never want to lose a team, so as a captain, if you are running into trouble getting players or need a co-captain, please don’t give up – call us 1st. We will try to help you.

Paul will be at MVRC on 2/28 Thursday from 9:30-11am for you to look at uniforms. You can also call him at 440-461-2372. MVRC offers a 30% discount on all team uniforms.

USTA is starting a day league this summer. It will be for 3.0 and 3.5 women. Play starts between 9am & 3pm. The big advantage of this day league is that the winner of the day group goes directly to the playoffs!
