Tennis Leagues
Want to play competitive matches without having to travel to other clubs? MVRC offers leagues comprised of other members at a variety of levels.
New players may sign up for a no-charge hitting session with Tennis Director Dave Polk to be placed in the correct league group. Contact the club to set up time for your session.
League Notes
Five 90-minute matches are played in each six-week session. The registration deadline for each league session is one week prior to the session start date.
All singles leagues have a $15 set-up fee. If opponents are on different unlimited programs, the match must be played within one of the unlimited times to avoid hourly court time charges.
Non-members may participate in Singles Leagues one time for an additional $40 fee, which must be paid with the league fee prior to the start of the session. After one session, club membership is required for participation.
League Session Dates
There will be six sessions of tennis leagues during the regular season.
Session 1: Begins week of September 7, 2025
Session 2: Begins week of October 19, 2025
Session 3: Begins week of November 30, 2025
Session 4: Begins week of January 18, 2026
Session 5: Begins week of March 1, 2026
Session 6: Begins week of April 12, 2026
Women's Singles League
- Players of all levels (men welcome)
- Players arrange their own match times
- Cost: $157.50 for the five-match league (no charge if on an unlimited plan)
Men's Singles League
- Players of all levels (women welcome)
- Players arrange their own match times
- Cost: $157.50 for the five-match league (no charge if on an unlimited plan)
Sunday Doubles Ladder League
- Players (men and women) of 3.0 level and above
- Matches played 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Players switch partners every week
- Cost: $21/match played (no charge if on an unlimited program during league hours)
- $15 set-up fee/session
Women's Tuesday Daytime Doubles Ladder League
- Players at a 3.0 or 3.5 level
- Matches played 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
- Players switch partners every week
- Cost: $15.75/match played (no charge if on an unlimited program during league hours)
- $15 set-up fee/session
Women's Tuesday Evening Doubles Ladder League
- Players at a 4.0-4.5+ level
- Matches played 7:30 - 9 p.m.
- Players switch partners every week
- Cost: $15.75/match played (no charge if on an unlimited program during league hours)
- $15 set-up fee/session
Men's Wednesday 3.0 Doubles Ladder League
- Players of 3.0 level
- Matches played 8-10 p.m.
- Players switch partners every week
- Cost: $21/match played (no charge if on an unlimited program during league hours)
- $15 set-up fee/session
Men's Thursday Evening Doubles Ladder League
- Players of 3.5-4.0+ levels
- Matches are Thursday evenings 8:00-10:00 p.m.
- Players switch partners every week
- Cost: $21/match played (no charge if on an unlimited program during league hours)
- $15 set-up fee/session
Friday Doubles League
- Men and women of all levels welcome; grouped by ability
- Matches are played at 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.
- Players register with and play with the same partner for the session
- Cost: $78 for five-match league (no charge if on an unlimited program during league hours)
